I just went to Barnes & Noble and I put Tony Buzan's Mind Mapping and Win Wenger's The Einstein Factor on hold. I'll be picking them up in a couple of days. Plus, I'm carving out the time each night to get through 5 or 6 books a night (after the playoffs that is). So, I'm quite geeked.

I'm especially interested to see how this is going to help my writing. I'm working on a book and, though I dig research, I want to have this thing super accurate and comprehensive. Plus, I'm thinking about doing a newsletter which may mean I'll have to produce a lot of material. I know this and the mind mapping will help.

I'll keep you guys posted.

The Braves lost the division so you can forget the play-offs and start now.

Please do keep us posted. One of the reasons why I am going through the Mind Map book by Tony Buzan is for the very same reason --- writing.

I have a LOT of information to wade through before I can put things down on paper, and the old way of drafting everything is so time consuming and thought congestive that it is hard to really see the overall picture of where you start your topic and where you want to go with it.

Incidentally, The Mind Map Book by Tony Buzan has some interesting additions in it from Barry Buzan, Tony's brother. Barry Buzan states in the book that the main purpose he uses Mind Maps for is for writing, and it has helped him have a very high output of writing in a short period of time.

For whatever it is worth to you, you may want to take a few minutes and read through the Foreward in the book, it is worth the time!

Cool, PS27. I'm hoping that all this helps tremendously with my writing. I like researching, but it can be so time consuming. I am hoping that ripping through several books and mind mapping will aid that whole process. I think it will.

I will keep you posted.
