Hello Fellow Photoreaders:

I have discovered a unique feeling of wellness after Photoreading. A feeling of happiness, quite a change from my grumpy self. It is quite unbelievable. Anyone else find that this happens?

Whenever I begin PhotoReading and activating my textbooks for school these days, I usually zone out and am in a whole different world. I usually have a hard time concentrating on ANYTHING but THAT INCREDIBLE GEOGRAPHY. It takes over my mind!!

Hehe. Seriously, though. The teacher often says things, and only after I'm done reading do I realize, "Uh oh. He said something while I was in my little world."

I really do believe the subconscious is saying, YUMMM. GIMME MORE, GIMME MORE!

Yeah, I think the PR process can get us into a sort of meditative state. As one enters into deeper meditation, one goes through the level of becoming more relaxed, eyes going out of focus, having fewer thoughts, and the mind getting into a relaxed but concentrated state. It isn't really meditation yet, but it's a very pleasant place to be.

Yup. I get that feeling as well during my photoreading sessions. I think I agree with with Hel on the meditative reading state, but I think it's also to do with the fact that you're actually using your other-than-conscious mind more actively than usual. By the way, I tend to get thirsty pretty quickly when I do a lot of PR. Anybody else?

That has actually happened to me every once and a while. It's always good to drink plenty of water. (Preferably bottled water.) This is to keep your brain hydrated. About a third of the time, I keep some good ol' spring water right next to me when doing a session.
