I do realise the advantage of keeping a focal point above the pages, but I find that the blip page does the job just fine. I'm fortunate in that my early training with Subliminal Dynamics got me into the habit of turning pages quite smoothly (Perhaps the only thing I retained from that course!), so I don't have to worry about losing the focus. Naturally, I appreciate the eclectic approach - I'm a little of an eclectic myself. However, I find that, eventually, I keep coming back to the techniques in Photoreading. They seem to work just fine for me and fit together perfectly.
