Now that you bring it up, it just occurred to me that the distraction index drill is just a form of pattern interrupt. (I seem to remember from one of your posts that you're familiar with NLP.) What do you think?
I agree completely that Photoreading wins hands down on the activation part. The fact that Subliminal Photography relies on spontaneous activation didn't go down well with me at all. Page turning, well, I've never attended a Photoreading seminar, so I'm not qualified to compare.
