I've posted a few times about using photoreading as my sophomore research project. Now I'm ready to start the project.

Initially I intended to teach a group of people to photoread and then test their results, but I found some trouble finding volunteers and didn't think it would be a fair test since these would have to be paid to learn the course and probably would not care enough to actually want to learn.

Therefore I am comming to the forum to see if I could use some people who actually know the system and have had success with it to use as subjects for the study. By using actual photoreaders instead of people who learned the system while being paid I hope to eliminate the possibility of "disproving" the possibilty of photoreading by testing people who don't know what they're doing.

I live in Philadelphia which is within traveling distance. I have not learned the PR system yet but I have the PR system. i would be interested in working with someone to learn it. If this is useful foryour needs please contact me so that we can arrange a meeting.

sorry, I would like to work with people who have experience with photoreading so that the the study will not result in a negative finding due to inexperience on the part of the participants.

I live near the NYC area and am pretty experienced with PR. A couple questions:

1) I predominantly use rapid reading, and though I'm experienced with SR+Dip, I'm much more confident with RR just because the type of content I need to know requires it. Are you looking for SR+Dippers over Rapid Readers, or will either suffice?
2) Is this a paid study?
3) Are you able to describe or at least summarize what the testing consists of?

3) The testing consists of you doing all of the steps in the system on two books and answering a series of questions throughout the process.

I would love to have you participate in my study. You've contributed a lot to this forum so far.

Its hard to test photoreading since a lot of people seem to have trouble learning the system and becomming comfortable with the process.
