and now i realize that i know the system and also see that i've known how to do it for quite some time. all that's left for me to do now is develop confidence in using it and also discipline to do pring more often to really let this thing take hold and really gel.

this system really is invisible. it's very easy to think it's not working for you when in fact it is.

i am learning a lot about myself, so much in fact that i spend more time not reading to absorb the information than i do reading! maybe that's why it took me so long to realize i knew the system.

Yes, it helps me. Because, I feel like nothing happens when I PR. I felt a little lightheaded today (my second attempt at PRing). But, still don't really know what the heck just happened. I am going forward looking for the best.

gozel, you have a perfect attitude. Just do it all in layers. A layer is just that: a little here & a little there & eventually, usually sooner than expected, it gels.

Any amount of pressure to do something will put tension in the eyes and a tunnel vision experience and in PhRing that's doom.

For chess, using periphereal vision and relaxing techniques will enable you to make better moves spontaneously...BUT, you won't really know why or how. Don't be like me and start questioning the "why & how" stuff. Keep relaxing your vision to periphereal and you'll be pleasantly surprised. I now use periphereal vision all the time for finding things to solving problems. I even used a 12 volt torque gun the other night in the dark to screw in screws i couldn't see Honest. It blew my mind when---w/o seeing them,-- i relaxed my vision & widened my gaze & the gun was right on them. I was just too lazy to walk all the way down to turn on the lights!!! It wasn't totally dark, but too dark to see the screws.

I was having real trouble retaining anything I read in Natural Brilliance; it was as if my eyes didn't want to see what was in that book. But I saw Paul mention Kai Kermani's book Autogenic Training, and I went to the library just to preview it; I ended up not only PRing it, but mindmapping it to my own purposes in only 1 hour! That sort of thing has happened a couple of times for me. Strangely enough, it always happens by accident, not on purpose!?

Seems to me that in order to make the system work for you, you really have to trust your mindbody connection instead of always having everything proven to you. The information is in there waiting to be accessed. Could be possible that the information is building new neural pathways without you even knowing it.
