I bought this program awhile ago, and now I've become serious about photoreading, I've gone through the home study course, but don't feel that I've really learned how to PR proficiently. I'm seeing that people are recommending "The Memory Book" By Harry Lorayne. What kind of schedule should I put myself on to become highly proficient at PR? I know the basics, but have been dissatisfied with my overall results.

Go though the course again. Stop the tape and do all the exercises again. This is how you begin to get better at it.

The use the system whenever the opportunity arises, everyday. Pick a book and activate it using the 5 day test/plan (page 76 of the PhotoReading book). Try syntopic reading, select one book to activate from those 4 or five.

Naturally it will depend on your schedule how much time you spend using the system. If you spend up to 30 minutes a day using the 5 day test your skills in using the system will improve.

Thanks for your detailed reply Alex. I have been reading other posts, and I was wondering what your opinion was on just photoreading 3-10 books a day and waiting for spontaneous activation to occur.

You probably still need to activate one book a week to train the inner mind conscious mind connection to successfully experience sponatneous activation.

Photoreading 3 to 10 books a day will help you in your photoreading skills and will help towards spontaneous activation. Manual activation is the best bet when you need to activate a book.

Why not PR 3 books a day and activate one daily? It's much better for you and it would take forever to really activate and PR 7-10 books. Remember to go easy on yourself.

With 3 books a day, also remember to activate different types of material, maybe a technical book one day, a novel the next, etc. so you learn to adjust the material for yourself.

They can be the same books every day. Only the photoreading step is required. Fully activating one book per week is enough. If you feel like activating more enjoy. You'll find there is enough other material to use the photoreading system on, on a daily basis so if you only activate one book a week you're doing well.

If you have time available to do so, you'll integrate the activation techniques much much faster.

You can do the full PhotoRead step on 20 books a day. There really is no limit.

Understand that, activation is about re-training your conscious mind to connect with all the pages of text you absorbed during the PhotoReading step.

The more books you fully activate, the more new neuro pathways/connections you'll "burn in" which continues to make it easier and easier to activate a book.

Set a realistic, achievable goal for yourself, measurable and testable, within your control.
