Does writing down the ANSWERS to mindprobing questions serve any useful purpose? It is a time-consuming procedure, but if my purpose is to pass an exam, in my opinion, it may be worth it.

I find the few minutes that it takes to start drawing a mind map with the answer or outling the book after each activation pass pull out more information than I may have consciously noticed during the activation pass.

Also reseach indicates that recording your information by writing it down you have a better memory of it. The summary that you write is a great revision tool. Makes it easier to recall the answers during an exam.
