If it looks like the images have been punched into the paper (like holes) then you are probably crossing your eyes.

By slipping in the 3D picture while you are photoreading you can assure yourself that you are doing it correctly. If you are really concerned that you may be doing it wrong let go of the blip and use the imaginary X technique with a soft gaze. Photoread the book upside down. After a while the blip may show up in which case you will know you got it right when you've been using the relaxed daydream type gaze.
