Alex, thanks! That's a good idea and I'll give it a try. But if you are willing I would like to discuss this theme a bit more. I have no experience with viewing 3D pictures so I searched the internet briefly and found some interesting sites on this theme. It seems there are two kinds of stereograms (maybe more, but I didn't search that intensely). Anyway the single image stereograms can be made for cross-eyed viewing or wall-eyed viewing. I believe that when PR we must use the wall-eyed view. We orient the axes of our eyes to infinity, that is trying to see trough the plane while focusing on the image plane. If we cross eyes while looking at the stereogram made for wall-eyed viewing the objects sunk into the image instead popping out of it. That's what you ment, right? So, when PR we must use the same technique as if looking at the random dot stereogram made for wall-eyed view. I must say that when trying to see the image in the stereogram in the PR manual book I wasn't successfull. I guess that when I see the blip I actually cross and not diverge. I'll go with the X-technique for a while and try to find some stereograms to practice diverging on them and try to remember the feeling.

RUebel I hope you're not mad because I jumped into this discussion in your post. I would have posted a new topic but I think that the themes relate. Also sorry for some misspelled words - didn't have a dictionary at hand to check them out.
