How long to your exam?
The best way is to use what you already know how to use and add Photoreading once you have the skill.
You need to learn photoreading first before it is better than the method you know. Adding the photoreading step (photoreading your textbooks once a day for a couple of weeks) will help improve on the other method.
If you have the time before the exams, learn the photoreading system, you will have more time to study, when you know how to photoread. However avoid trying to learn to photoread using the textbooks for your major exams. Learn to photoread first, then apply it to your studies.
