Alright, its clear you can have a specific or general question or puspose in mind, but is it better to have a specified question than a general question?
Is it better to read a book to find a computer command or to read one to understand it fully? All purposes are valid. The important thing is to have a purpose. Use the questions suggested in the book to get an idea of what you want to get from the book. Then, turn that into a single affirmation. That's your purpose.
I mean when someone PRead the PRing whole mind system and your purspose is stated:
"I would like to know how to superread."
is it more likely to get an answer from your unconcious mind than when your purpose is more general like:
"How can this book be helpfull to me?"
I suggest not using "I would like", but rather "I intend" to phrase your purpose. "Would like" is a little bit like "wish". For your last question, try turning it into a sentence. A question like that is open-ended. Your purpose can be clearer. If you answer that question, you'll have a purpose. Don't worry about "getting a purpose wrong". If you're not able to get what you want from the book, or need to rephrase your purpose, it will show up in the preview.
