Answer 1 - Thank you Alex for the encouragement on taking the course a second time to gather stuff I hadn't noticed before.
Answer 2 - I didn't see much at first (of course), but as I progressed, I saw, in a bird's eye kind of way how PR works. I like the fact that it's multifaceted in that several stages are used to envelop a book (at surprisingly quick speeds). Mostly, I enjoyed the activation part of it, in the form of mind-mapping. In fact, I went out and bought a spiral-bound 11x14in sketch book so I could get better mind maps with it. The thing that worried me before I got very far was the superreading and dipping. After I realized how much I was taking in, I realized my fear about it wasn't that big of a deal at all.
Mostly, I took the PR home course to get through classes. I suck at studying, which leads into answer 3...
I'm a 23 y/o male attending Central Washington University. I've 1 more year.
Anyways, I always knew I had a problem. I'm not very intuitive when it comes to studying and schooling in general. I was up late one night, and discovered this paid ad for PhotoReading, and I had to take a closer look. That was two years ago, now. I finally picked it up a few days ago, and here I am. Hope it goes well with my text books!
