Hi, everyone.
I just wanted to report on something. I am learning PR'ing from the 3rd edition of the book. I have found that it helps me stay "in state" while doing the PR step, to get the "blip page" and still do the imaginary X, and notice the corners of the page. Also, sometimes I will bounce my eyes from corner to corner along the 'X' while maintaining diveregent gaze. That seems to make it harder for me to regular read the words. I sometimes still find it hard not to regular read while PR'ing, and POOF, the state is gone. Just thought I'd share that.

Photoread the book upside down. You're less likely to get caught up in regular reading the text.

I like to imagine the outside white margin around all of the text, as if it is a picture frame. I keep my attention on the framework of the white margins.

The type of vision you use during the PhotoReading step is almost identical to the vision we use when you're driving a car. When you look through the windshield and see everything with that "soft gaze."

Just remember to use the pre-affirmations from page 43, the 4-3-2-1 chant while turning pages, and the closing affirmations from page 51.

I usually imagine the text becoming alive and having a 3D feel to it, the information being scanned and burned into my memory.

Ba ha ha! For some reason, I'm not quite sure Dana would be real into doing a huge party night. I won't speak for 'em, but...that's my suspicion.

I think that Paul, Pete, and Dana's idea of having a party night is having a huge slumber party, starting in the morning with 4 hours of PhotoReading and mindmapping, then into the early afternoon with 2 hours or so of QiGong, followed by 3 hours of Image Streaming, 45 minutes of Paraliminals, and then when they're all partied out, they go to sleep and fight each other in their lucid dreams.

"I fought both of you," Dana says.
"Who won?" Pete will ask.
"Me."
"That's weird! I won against you!!"

Photoreading works, and I particularly dislike the notion that people might be flocking off to Reading Genius simply because we run a circus around here.

The only time I drive with a soft gaze is driving home from the library after PR'ing.

Well, not so much now, but back in college days....
