To create a physical trigger for yourself to bring on the memory of a positive experience whenever you want. Prepared before hand it is quite useful for repeating/recalling positive photoreading session. When you have a successful photoreading session recall/remember it with as much feeling and detail as you can. Then at the peak of your remembering, when you really feel like you got it again, create your trigger, e.g. squeeze your thumb.

The idea is to recall the experience as vividly as you can, bringing into play all your senses... smell, taste, touch, hearing, seeing and emotions. When you know that you are fully re-experiencing the experience you create the trigger... a squeeze of the left thumb with the fingers of the left hand for example.

To check the trigger forget the experience for a moment... then test the trigger by squeezing the thumb again, you will notice the memory flooding back. To make the trigger stronger you can add to it other experiences where you where highly successful in your endeavours. You simply repeat the proceedure with one or two additional experiences and they can be other experiences than photoreading too. So if your success with photoreading has been limited to date... use other success experiences.

Now heres the beauty of the trigger it you can use it anytime for anything that you want to feel or be motivated towards success so you can use it for more than photoreading.
When you want to have this feeling of heightened success you can fire off your trigger (i.e. squeeze your thumb).

For photoreading do this just before opening your eyes after doing the 3 to 1 count down and stating your affirmations for photoreading and it triggers the positive feeling you want when you photoread.

If you want to know more about this technique you might like to obtain the book
Triggers A New Approach to Self-Motivation by Stanley Mann, A.C.S.W.ISBN 1-13-930785-0 ISBN 0-13-930793-1 {PBK} copyright 1997.

There was also a tape course available on this technique but I cannot recommend it because it comes as part of a package deal with is quite costly.

BTW the triggers lose their effectiveness if you neglect to use them so you might have to repeat the process at some time.
