I have found that the most important aid to good memory is writing down what I want to remember, and then writing down 3 reasons it would be good for me to do so.
I think it's really important, particularly when using paraliminals, not to lose sight of common sense when devising a self-help program.
You might cultivate common sense by asking yourself, again and again:"If I'm not really bright or creative, how might I approach this issue?" I'm not saying that one shouldn't be bright or creative, but that it's important not to ignore the obvious.
best wishes,
Mike
