From what I've tried and what I've read on this board, it seems that these tapes are godsents, almost. Whenever I tell my friends and family about them though, they ask me this:

"Wouldn't all of life's problems be eliminated if these were really useable and effective?"

I wonder myself, and was interested if anyone had any concrete evidence on the effectiveness of parliminal hypnosis and the psychology related to it, or suggestions on why the entire world does not practice it?

That's a really good question and I hope others will join into discussing this topic with meaningful replies.
To answer your question from my perspective, I think its important to remember to keep an open mind on this subject and try not to draw conclusions too quickly. Although I haven't yet seen a clinical study of the effects of paraliminals and HPPs (Pete, if you're reading this let us know.)I bought some HPPs and Paraliminals because I had very good results with similar techniques when I was trying to quit smoking. Lately I've noticed that when I use the Paraliminals and HPPs consistently and follow the program the first thing to change is my thinking and my self image, action follows later, but the change is gradual. I don't beleive Paraliminals are like taking a magic pill and everything will get better, I think you have to have a real desire to change with a clear plan of action and be willing to experiment as Paul Scheele states in his NB book.

Hope this helps!
Be cool

I always get a similar response when I tell people about the paraliminal tapes or Photoreading, or whatever. People tend to be very sceptical. There are so many scams about these days that when something comes along that can help improve your life through non-conventional means, people automatically think that there is something dodgy about it. Unfortunately, people are not taught at a young age how to get the most out of their minds - a lot of the brain's ability is supressed in school. All Paul Scheele's courses are doing is helping to regain access to those abilities.

I don't know about concrete evidence, but considering the number of high-profile people, usually in the psychology field, who have spoken highly of the techniques, I'd say that there is at least some strong evidence to support it.

Why doesn't the whole world practice it? Again, it goes back to scepticism - education institutions would rather stick to what they know than employ some dodgy sounding "easy-learn" theories. People do not like change.

Life will still throw challenges and problems your way. No self improvement technique will eliminate all your problems (life would be boring if it did). If it is the feelings that you associate with the problems that come up then that is definitely within your control.

I believe that paraliminals are extremely effective for positive conditioning. In my experience I have had to use other tools to release much of the negative conditioning.

Will the memory supercharger (for example) make your life better? Well it has improved my memory and ability to learn.
