Hi,
I would like to ask for your opinions as to preparation to make the most of the Seminar. I have been Photoreading @ 3 books a week, going through the steps. Any other suggestions to get the most 'bang for the buck' for the seminar?

I welcome any comments...

Thanks.

Let go of everything you know about photoreading and attend the class with an Open Mind or a beginners mind.

To quote from page 122 of the PhotoReading book

quote:
Shunryu Suzuli, a Zen master, said "In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert's there are few."

Just let go of any preconceived ideas and attend the class with an open mind. It's the same as emptying ones hands to pick up something else, much easier to pick up more.

Great point AlexK.

During the Seminar, as I understand you photoread a few books. If some of you have gone to the Seminar, what would you do to make it 'better'? Has anyone gone more than once to a PR seminar and how have you benefited by these?
By extension as to some benefits of the PRS, I'd like to propose a personal one.
One of the most important points that I have appreciated with PRS is the relaxation and release of tension prior to 'absorbing' the reading material. Getting into the 'zone', the flow state, is great for not only PRS but I use PRS in conjunction with when I need to make presentations in front of a group. The words seem to just 'flow'! I release the nervousness and focus on how this material will benefit those in the audience. This state of mind puts me at ease with myself enough so that instead of focusing on my own discomfort at being stared at by all those people, I am at ease with the information that I PR'd and at ease 'giving' this information to my audience.
If you have other uses for the PRS, I'd like to hear about it. I recognize that with the combined experience here, there is much we can mutually learn.

Much thanks...
