I found that I get better results in PR when my main-goal is not to improve myself to impress other people (ego-driven), but to improve myself to be able to help other people in a better way. Does anybody have the same experience?

Yes, in fact, now that you mention it. It makes perfect sense, at least from the standpoint of mission vs. identity. When you operate from a sense of your life's mission, you invoke your Will to do your Highest Good. When you operate from a sense of ego-identity, you invoke a different quality of Will.

I think you've discovered how to engage more of your Whole Mind through operating from your Highest Good. Thank you for sharing this valuable discovery.

The way I see the difference in the to motivations. The first is a desire and the second is a need. Most of us a flooded with unfulfilled desires. However, satisfying a need is closer to a survival trait.

Stating motivation as a need feels very right to me.

Thank you for your observation.
