Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer Learn only by using the PR book

I have enough money to buy the self study course, but dad doesn´t allow me to do it cos he think it´s far too expensive (and he doesn´t believe in PR also). Is it possible to learn the technique by using the book only, or am I supposed to wait till I´m of age before I can order the course? Is all of it in the book or do I need some extra equipment?

I would appreciate some advice from those who have learned from the book!

Yes, it can be done. Also, if you can, order the paraliminals:Memory Supercharger or Personal Genius from LSC. They are not necessary, but they do help.

yeah you can learn it from the book. I learned it from the book with the help of these forums and a little coaching. If it helps they do have a 3 month payment plan for the home study course. Photoreading is totally worth the money. Be patient in learning it; it will probably be totally new to you and will be very different from other things you have had to learn.

I've learned PhotoReading from the book
(I think that it's written in a way that it supports self-study)
and then I found this site and the wonderful discussion forum, it's been pleasure

-> "Be patient in learning it" that's my hint also, please be persistent

I've had some breaks not using the system and times I almost forgot it exists, but you can avoid that
I'm sure you can get the best out of it if you PLAY with it on a continuous basis,
and it's important to enjoy each step what you are doing with PR.

I have found useful to listen to the BrainWaveGenerator "muzak" while I read, the program (free; I found out about it here), which includes e.g. a learning aid.

Yes, the only thing the tape course is for is to keep a person focused to the task of PRing if the person isn't good at self motivation.
