Hey, my girlfriend told me yesterday that she saw an infomercial for a reading system that was just like photoreading but wasnt photoreading!!???? Anyone heard of it or know what it is?

I haven't seen the informercial (I don't watch infomercials), but I did some web research to try and find what your friend may have been talking about. My intuition was originally Howard Berg, because the PhotoReading FAQ mentions that he does some amazing things on his infomercials. However, it also states that Howard Berg teaches normal SpeedReading, perhaps better.

I did uncover something called "Mental Photography / Subliminal Photography" by subliminal dynamics. They seem to have a bone of contention against PhotoReading.

Just for your information Subliminal Dynamics is defentally NOT any better than PhotoReading because they use a similar process, and it in fact could be considered worse, because they want a person to do tons of practice before they can see any results. If you have any more questions in regards to Subliminal Dynamics just post them and I'll do my best to answer them for any one who is interested.

So, just keep what I said in mind and if you already know PhotoReading defentally do not bother wasting your time with Subliminal Dynamics.

One thing I was wondering about was the claim of 100% retention. (Yes, they make this claim). The idea of reading with PhotoFlipping speeds, but with near 100% retention, is awesome. As Paul Scheele states, the 60% retention of a starting PhotoReader sounds bad, because "60%" is a D on most tests. However, the 60% comprehension from consciously activating 4-11% of the text is pretty damned cool.

She might have seen infomercial for "Eye Q" reading system which in reality is just speedreading for the 90s-00s. It is not like or does not compare to PR in no way. PR is far better. Eye Q is just Evelyn Wood repackaged.

I took their seven-minute demo and it did work for me. I would recommend the demo to anyone.

i too took the demo just now online, but i have no idea what i just read.....

i am curious what *their* method is for recalling 100%!!!?

i don't feel like spending nearly $400 to find out how to do that. has anyone ever taken their course, if so, could you tell us what the exact difference is? it obviously has something to do with activation and it would definitely be fascinating to find out about this richard welch program!?

Yeah, i know this is kind of a blind statement seeing as how i am a photoreader, but the claims of subliminal dynamics are pretty shady. If they a book out (and maybe a half decent website. very professional. sheesh) i would probably pick it up. But $400 for a course i know nothing about is pretty bad. There site just sounds like "our system is God. take our system for $400 and we solve all of your problems, make you completely happy and satisfied, and give you eternal life". Anyone know how this thing is supposed to work? They say Paul Scheele basically stole photoreading from them, so whats the difference? I'd be interested in knowing, if only to improve my photoreading.

Manual activation. Kept growing. BTW don't make the mistake I did of sending an email for more information... They claimed that they didn't use subliminal techniques for reading...I wanted to aske them about their name and then had to put them on an anti spam. My email was answered with a bot... we dont respond to emails please call.. US # given Yeah right like I'm going to make an international call. The bot email said buy the course... I was really annoyed by day 5 that they are now blocked from sending me emails... I wanted info not to be told buy the course every day... perhaps that was subtle sublimials they were sending? me

I took the Subliminal Dynamics course many years back. I can assure you that 100 % recall is not the typical recall level anyone in my class had. In fact, at the refresher course, from what I could tell, most had had little or no success with the course at all.

100 % recall (or anything close to that!) is something I'm convinced few, if any, Subliminal Dynamics graduates achieved. I suppose it may be considered 100 % in that 100 % of it goes in, just as it does in the PhotoReading step. Output is usually considerably less.

As Alex has said, the manual activation techniques of the PR course are the extra, and believe me, they make a world of difference.
