Grab a book of 200 to 300 pages, something with chapters and subheading (a how to study type book might be interesting) and apply the 5 day test on it. You only need to spend 20 to 30 minutes a day on it and at the end of 5 days you'll see where photoreading can lead you. It encourages you to apply the steps in a gentle way. At the end of 5 days you'll have spent about 2 to 2.5 hours on the book. Notice how much of it you already understand or have learnt from that book.

Pages 76 -77 of the 3rd edition of PhotoReading book.
