Has anyone tried out acereader?

I am interested in using it to the extend that I can flash a page per second which would allow me to photoread any material through the computer.

there are other similar products out there like "GnomeRSVP", which is a "Rapid Serial Visual Projector". however i couldn't get it to work.

does anyone know of any better software tools that do that and where can i find it?

(i would like to be able to flash pages from other programs too, like powerpoint, or acrobat reader, which is something acereader doesn't do. plus i had a hard time using it in the first place)...

any ideas??

I've tried acereader but it's for speed-reading not photoreading.
When I use it , I feel nearly sick by the freshing of display.

Same, I tried ACEReader... for the flashing and dizzyness, try increasing your monitor refresh rate. But yes, it's for speedreading. And that in which wants to walk a road with land mines, go right ahead. I'm not condoning speedreading, just that after taking a course AND messing around with it, it's not as efficient as it promise. THE drills mind washing.

As for GnomeRSVP, never tried that. But flashing of images, like photoreading, at a calm state should yield same results...

i just wonder if scrolling messes up the photoreading steps there? since in pohtoreading it is a "still image" from page to page that we take in. As opposed to here where it moves? any thoughts?

I love scrolling. Faster than flipping or clicking. Do my news reading online... open all the main stories, Scroll through them. Respond chats and quick SR&dip close windows and check my emails

i wonder if the blurriness, due to high-speed scrolling, of the pages make it impossible to pick up anything. does it have to scroll at a particular speed to work? after all in the photoreading process with regular books we look at the page for a second or two, whereas here it seems even less than that... any thoughts? tks!!

See pages 83 to 85 of the Photoreading book 3rd edition it discusses using photoreading on the computer.

hm, i don't have the 3rd edition, but the one before that, so i don't exactly know what it says about computer pr.

so can anyone per chance tell me what the answer is to my previous question?
