Same, I tried ACEReader... for the flashing and dizzyness, try increasing your monitor refresh rate. But yes, it's for speedreading. And that in which wants to walk a road with land mines, go right ahead. I'm not condoning speedreading, just that after taking a course AND messing around with it, it's not as efficient as it promise. THE drills mind washing.
As for GnomeRSVP, never tried that. But flashing of images, like photoreading, at a calm state should yield same results...
