I find that not only is PhotoFocus easier without my glasses on, in time the act of looking at a book without glasses is a conditioned response to enter PhotoFocus.
If you're like me, you had to use an eyepatch as a child. (My left eye is still a little lazy, but almost inperceptibly so. It creates a "weird" appearance to my eyes, especially as I've got flecks of red in the irises). Do you remember how difficult it was to read words with your non-dominant eye? The only way to do it, for me at least, was to absorb the "shape" of the word and sort it out based on the "shapes" of other words. Essentially, I was PhotoReading in the second grade, I just didn't know it!
I firmly believe that in most casses, glasses give PhotoReaders an "edge" or at least a shortcut when it comes to PhotoFocus.
