I am Chang Liu, a fellow Chinese person. What I think is most important is to not worry about activation until your goal for the book is at a level which you can achieve. Photoreading is like starting fresh new skill, like being a kid again and learning a new way to learn. Kids do play lots before they can full understand what it is they are doing. And playing is also very fun. Do try to notice the changes that happen when you Photoread more books. I suggest reading at least 10 more books and playing with them before moving up your expectation for Activating the books.
