Not to be milking this topic beyond its capacity but I believe that the question, "is photoreading a religion?" is also partially answered in my statements around this board dealing with science, and the need for studies. One must perform studies/systematic-observations in order to assess the nature of the phenomena one is dealing with. Photoreading does not do this- but it implies that the other-than-consicious mind has the capabilities which Paul Scheele, and the LSC folks promise it does. In addition to not having "scientific" studies to prove their position they also fail to come up with a philosophical system justifying their promises about how and why the subconscious will work for you. In that sense it can be considered a religion because people who accept their message do so only on faith. And, if they do perceive benefits, than they can be said to accept it on experiential grounds. One must be very careful with those. It does not have any of the other elements usually associated with religion so I would call it good marketing, and the power of subconscious-persuasion- which is, incidentally, well-researched.
