The methods of teaching in school are considered well researched???? Is that why so many people manage to slide throught the system with poor reading comprehension skills?

I've discovered a lot of information about the hows and why photoreading does work. The information / proof is out there. Research data presented by the company as proof will always be subject to doubt. Ironically the proof that photoreading works doesn't and shouldn't come from photoreading itself. Brain research is only now becoming more possible.
No one ever proved to me that I can learn... it's just something I've been doing all my life
I'm sure that research will one day show the correct mental state one must aquire to learn bungee jumping or tight rope walking in the mean time that's just a skill a some people will learn just for the heck of it. Putting their mind and muscles to work through experience. Does this make bungee jumping a religion? It takes a lot of faith since we don't have wings. Bike riding is a religion? There is no scientific proof that we can balance a bike on 2 wheels (and for that matter not everyone can do it nor wants to do it.) It's a skill that is learnt by doing. Same with photoreading, singing, writing, painting cooking they are skills that are learnt by doing.
Throught history we first learnt by saying... show me how you did that. If we always sat back saying no way... give me scientific proof that it can be done no one would have built the motor. Try it and see is how we learn.
