Last week, a couple of days after I got the PR book I decided to try the method on a book by using the photoreading step only, just for the fun of it. I tried to relax by breathe slowly and put the tangerine on the back of my head. I opened the book (a dictionary) and began to flip pages while chanting. When I had finished the book my mind felt uncommon clean as if I had practised meditation. A very comfortable feeling I must say.

What do you say about this? Is it common to get this kind of feeling after the photoreading step?

That sounds like a good description of what one's supposed to feel. Assuming that PRing truly does go "straight to the subconscious", in the same way as meditation or self-hypnosis activate the subconscious, then this feeling probably indicates relative success. Physiologically, it indicates the Relaxation Response. Did you have any success with what you PRed? If so, take this feeling as a good form of feedback

Yes, I understand what you mean Jonatan. The information that I photoread is krisper and has more claritiy than I every really experienced with regular reading.

Photoreading is based on research into the Accelerative Learning, NLP and reading skills in general being relaxed while learning is proving to be one of the most powerful tools in any learning situation. Using accelerated learning it is possible to have a good conversational understanding of the language within a week.
