When I do Sterograms w/ my glasses on, it's more blurry, but I just have to move back more, then it becomes clear. Without my glasses, it's clear or more focused as in the details shown on the sterograms aren't fuzzy. Anyone else get this?

Ya, I think I got this experience also when I seen the Stereogram, but I dont know why, I'm curious to know too.

And I think is the 'problem' of our glass. Are u a myopia ? for myopia the glass used is concave lens and the lens is designed for correcting distal object/focus, but not for near object/focus. When we seen at Stereogram, our eyes was diverging, I mean we relax all the intra-occular muscles just like what it did when looking at distal object, thus looking at distal object also help to relaxing the eyes. Then return to the concave lens, as we know the lens was for correcting distal focusing, when we seen a near object, our eyes must do some accommodation, that is narrower of the pupil and the eyes' len become more convect, more globular. Yet we are using the 'condition' for far object to seen at near object, so it will cause blurry.

I dont know whether what I 'guess' is correct or not, but, just for my very own openion. My english language was bad and I hope you will understand what I mean, maybe I should draw a diagram in my explanation next time.

I get your idea. But I am only 16?!?! I don't have old eyes... I'm nearsighted, but I seriously think my glasses is the problem. I have AR coating on my glasses also... Hmmm... But yeah, I played more with my eyes today and they are "adjusting" to more clear blurry picture. Do you get me? The eye is very versital if used right, so just relax and play with it, usually in our case we just have to keep a farther distance from the book, 18in minimum.

Firstly, maybe we should discuss about myopia. Myopia is not 'old-man eyes', I think the 'old-man eyes' you mean is Presbyopia. Myopia is caused by the focus of light fallen in-front of the retina. (Presbyopia is due to accommodation inadequate, because of old age.) You said your eye was 'near-sight', is it translated from mandrine ? If removed the glass, you can see near object clearly or far object ? The Myopia is cann't see far object clearly.

I think we need some comment form other people like AlexK or KWLee, those expert photoreader, because for my openion, when you try hard to make the double-line vision clear, you have to stare at it 'forcefully', instead, we should used soft-gaze eye sight when do photo focus.

Hehe, near clear, far blurry. I try my best not to spend time on computer now to improve my eyesight. And there is soo much crap that get sent to my e-mail, mainly porn, that just makes me freakin mad. Anyhow, if you can effectly see within 18in clearly, then you can PR fine. Unlike me... darn eyes... Try contacts, they should help also.

You don't need to see a blip. you just need to be able to focus on the pattern of white that letters make without focusing on the words. That is the easiest and most relaxed way to photoread. As a result you often see a blip page.

How everyone sees no one can really say its the same, since we focus on what is important to us individually. We mistakenly believe that it is the eyes that see when in reality it is the brain that sorts through 'all' the data and presents to the mind what is considered important by the individual.

Enjoy Photoreading rather than trying to get it 100% correct just soft focus. Yes it all goes in.
