OK, this is either going to help you tremendiously or make absolutely no sense at all.

In NLP, there are words called "nomonolizations." They're verbs that have the linguistic form of nouns. For example, "I'm going to walk to the supermarket" has "I" as the subject, "am going to walk" as the predicate, and "to the supermarket" as the object. However, we could also say, "I'm going to take a walk to the supermarket." The subject is the same, but the predicate is now "going to take." The direct object is "a walk" and the indirect object is "the supermarket."

I find that what helps me to focus is to look at the turn. The motion becomes part of the information I'm preconsciously processing. I trust my inner mind enough to use the number of turns to find information when I need a "quick reference," and I also trust my inner mind not to bother my conscious mind with the exact numeration of the turns. I found that the more I concentrate on the turing, rather than the pages, the more able I am to see the fabled "blip page."

If the second paragraph made no sense at all, skip it and go right to the third.

Lose the focus stay with turning the pages. Once you feel comfortable doing one thing the other falls into place.

That is, once you've gotten the hang of just 'looking' at the pages with the softest focus you can. (seeing the whole page but not looking at the words with hard focus), then the blip page will stay stable too. Staying with the rhythm of the chant will help fast track that, rather than trying to see the blip. Turning the pages is like peddling, once you gain your momentum you find it easier to keep going.

I did the tape course and even on my third book I lost the blip more often than not. but using the X-technique (explained - page 48 next to Einstein joggin PR Book) and staying with the chant I got it. For the record that third book took me 40 minutes to fully activate. So the X-technique works just as well.
