Lose the focus stay with turning the pages. Once you feel comfortable doing one thing the other falls into place.
That is, once you've gotten the hang of just 'looking' at the pages with the softest focus you can. (seeing the whole page but not looking at the words with hard focus), then the blip page will stay stable too. Staying with the rhythm of the chant will help fast track that, rather than trying to see the blip. Turning the pages is like peddling, once you gain your momentum you find it easier to keep going.
I did the tape course and even on my third book I lost the blip more often than not. but using the X-technique (explained - page 48 next to Einstein joggin PR Book) and staying with the chant I got it. For the record that third book took me 40 minutes to fully activate. So the X-technique works just as well.
