I've PhotoRead the French-English dictionary a few times. I can't say it's been profoundly helpful, but I dare say it's more helpful than reading straight through.

What about back to front? You are aloud to do that in normal reading you know, you dont have to go straight through...

I doubt I'd learn French that way, either.

I don't think anyone can learn a language by just PRing the dictionary of that language... try the dictionary and some books.

The more words you try to memorize in a day, the better retention you will have, it has been prooven, I dotn remember my source. Try memorizing 100 words a day, you might remember 75 of them consistently. Try memorizing 1000 a day, you will get a better than 75% success rate.

I think I read this in Superlearning 2000, good book, read it.

Photoreading was not intended to totally replace the normal learning methods. You do have to still memorize words and go through the normal ways to learn a language. Photoreading will just speed up the proccess
