To me, "bad dreams" come in two types. Nightmares, which are fun in the way haunted houses or scary movies are fun (eustress), and annoying dreams - such as being at work or the infamous "final exam and you never even showed up for class" dream (distress).

Strangely enough, PhotoReading has had a profound effect on the dreams that are normally distressful. For example, showing up on the last day of class but intuitively knowing the answers, showing up on the FIRST day of class and being eager to learn, or once actually TEACHING the class how to make mind-maps.

When I do have a distressing nightmare, such as being in the same room with the sociopath who tried to drive me to suicide for her own perverse pleasure, I take it as motivation to actually DO something about it. There's a way of discribing troublesome problems: "it's not worth loosing sleep over." To me, a nightmare is my way of telling myself, "Oh yes it is!"

As far as the thing about dying in your dreams goes, I've died plenty of times. Once I went to Hell, but God showed up looking absolutely beautiful in a red dress and driving a red 1957 Chevy, and she drove me and my buddy to heaven. Once I even had the falling dream, and crash-landed. I was all mangled and even dead, but I could still move. Didn't even hurt much.
