You'll need to give yourself permission to go faster over the parts that your mind tells you are boring. You don't worry if you missed some of the details. Also know that it will take a few books for you to develop this knowing better. At first you might be ignoring the feeling that this bit is going to be slow and you don't need to read it all to know what is happening in the book.
Keep using it a few more times and you'll notice the benefits building.
