The blip page is great because, provided you can do it, it is much easier to get all four courners in your field of view, and it makes
consciously looking at the actual words in the text a little more difficult.
That said, the method that is best is the one that works for you.
If you have problems getting a blip page after what you consider a decent effort, try going without it. The great thing about photoreading is that you can play with it and get it to suit you the best.
