Iam2 I disagree. If you've studied nightwalking you should understand that averting your fovea/macula to anything other than what you're looking at leaves your rods to do the seeing. In photofocus we avert our macular vision to a point behind the book, but since there's nothing to see, the two maculae (left and right) do not converge on an image and are left out of the loop entirely.
