I was nerdy kind of, I stopped like you. But I didn't "stop", I just didn't talk to people at all. I'm not that social, not that good with other people. That is a bad way to mask your identity... Or just not talk to the wrong group about your knowledge, hang out with people and stuff. Talk with geeks some other time.
