Great post. I've never photoflip. I've always gone at about the second a page rate.
At first I thought you were dipping on subsequent PR passes, and thought "Well why wouldn't you dip. You've already PR the material and you're just doing a very fast SR and dip". Then I double checked and you're saying that you're dipping on the second and third photoflip, but not the first.
So I'm wondering if you've actually done your PR step in your first photoflip. You've been at this for quite a while and have probably set down some good mental pathways for PWMS. Add to this that Pete has PhotoRead at ~630,000 wpm.
So doing some guesstimations (200 pages @ 500 wpp in 5 sec.) and we get that you were photofliping / PRing at only about twice the rate Pete is supposed to have PRed.
Who's to say what the actual maximum is. So why not photoflip to PR, and photoflip to SR and dip.
