Andromeda!
You posted a while back regarding taking a mental photograph of something then manipulating it in your head leading to improved recall. Well i read something the other day about dissociating (ie imagining looking at yourself while you do things) and wondered whether you can do it while PRing.

It struck me that if you saw the book and yourself in your mind's eye, because you would be then manipulating the image of the page whether that would work similar to your experience.

I remember reading somewhere on this board that somebody dissociates instead of using the tangerine technique.

Do any other PRers have experience of using dissociation while PRing? Does it have any benefits for learning maybe?

I do, I visualize myself looking over my shoulder while I PR. I have trouble with the tangarine method for some reason...

Also whenever I remember something I dont see it through my eyes, I see myself in the picture too and I have a pretty good memory, so ... yeah

Mastermind,

When you first read the text how clearly do you see yourself and the words on the page?
Which parts of the PR process do you use this technique on.

Just curious about how other people do things. S'pose i've got the modelling bug after reading bandler's 'using your brain for a change'.

Thanks!

Nick

uh, I sorta see through me, kinda like a ghost. You can tell my body is there (while reading) but its not prominent enough an apparition (that sounded smart) to block any of the page ... Either that or I see my body as it is and see two pages on each side of my head. It really just depends.
