On the post asking how everyone heard of PhotoReading, you mention that you learnt NLP through Speed seduction? What is this "Speed Seduction" and would it help with PR?
Thanks,
Jonah

Speed Seduction is an application of NLP persuasion skills for seducing women. It was developed by Ross Jeffries at www.seduction.com. It is some of the most advanced NLP persuasion material out there, though IMO Kenrick Cleveland's Max Persuasion course www.maxpersuasion.com is a better program for general use. Tom Vizzini and Kim McFarland have the Essential Skills seminars and videos which teach practical applications of NLP. IMO Speed Seduction would have little to do with learning Photoreading aside from the confidence skills taught in the classes if you have a confidence problem with Photoreading.

Dosetsu and Kaiden,

I'm curious as to whether you've had any success with the Speed Seduction course

Is it worth me investigating furthur to learn about NLP (of course...!)

Thanks,

Boomy

Sorry, I don't do SS but I have a couple of friends who do and they say it works. There is an open list on NLP/SS/hypnosis/etc called Mindlist. Go to yahoo groups and sign up. I've not been there for a while but there are lots of different viewpoints on these topics which makes it interesting.

As far as learning more NLP, Ross is a good teacher, and he has a lot of advanced material that can be applied to anything. He was a guest teacher at the Essential Skills seminar I attended.

I like Kenrick Cleveland's basic course better for general persuasion.

I've had success. However, it should be noted that Speed Seduction is geared towards polyamoury, adultry, and other non-traditional relations. I've found my personality is better suited towards monogamy. I've never quite mastered the art of making Speed Seduction sound natural. Part of it is that I'm a natural pedigogue, so I deal in the realm of the communication of facts in a matter-of-fact manner. (My ideal job would be ISP tech support).

On the other hand, I would say that Ross Jeffries is about as qualified as Paul Scheele in the teaching of magic. "Natural Brilliance" isn't marketed as a magical practice, but I've noticed great areas of overlap between "Natural Brilliance" and the "Beyond Confidence" videos.

I think part of this may be the Daoist underpinnings of both authors. "Speed Seduction" is the application of Tai Chi to language. Tai Chi is the application of Daoism to movement.

On the other hand, Chunyi's "Spring Forest Qigong" is just blowing me away. The stuff is Adamantium. I'd recommend it to anyone. I'd also recommend it as a supliment, and prerequisit, to Speed Seduction. Walking through life with a tremendous "flow" of Qi is attractive.

Although I did it in reverse order, my perscription would be:

1.) Spring Forest Qigong - generate a tremendous amount of healing energy for yourself and others.

2.) Natural Brilliance - become VERY clear on what you want in a relationship.

3.) Beyond Confidence - Focus your will like a laser; become free of your past; learn some additional energized breathing postures

4.) Speed Seduction - Learn how to talk to people on an other-than-concious level.

All-in-all, I think this is over a grand, but it might wind up costing less in the long run.
