Does lack of sleep cause lack of dreaming? I can't recall having any dreams this week or week before even when PRing... Am I accually awake? or is this all a dream? Chang

Well don't ask us if you're dreaming - we'll tell you it's real, Chang. Lack of sleep means less dreaming, yes. I suggest sleeping 10-14 hours a day.

ouch, 14 hours??? I agree with di vinchi when he said that sleep is a waste of time. He got no more than 4 hours of sleep per week. I normally get about 6-7 hours.

Da Vinci? Sleep? Waste of time? Something is wrong with Da Vinci!! Sleep is a wonderful use of time. The things you can discover in dream...

I believe that the first 5 or so hours of your sleep is mostly dreamless sleep, where your brain exhibits delta waves. The REM periods (where dreaming occurs) dominate if you sleep past 5 hours. I've also noticed that when I sleep for 5 hours at night and take naps in the afternoon, I would have some pretty vivid (and occasionally lucid) dreams during those naps.

differientiate between vivid and lucid... My dreams, I have no idea if they are lucid or not. I usually have total control, sometimes it's a told story.. Chang sleep is childish. But again, perfection of lucidity is good, perfection that is.

Lucid = You're in control of the dream and know you're dreaming at the same time. Basically, you can consciously control the dream to a reasonable extent, though you may not have full control. For me, lucidity usually doesn't last very long (about a minute or so) and may come and go several times during the same REM period.

I had a dream once where I had to go reeeely bad, so I went to the bathroom and started p***ing, and just kept going and going and going and it didn't stop, and it started to hurt because I had to go so bad, but I didn't feel relieved. Then I finally woke up and ran like heck to the bathroom!! Ahhhh

Ok, i normally sleep with pj's... One night i had a classic waterfall/stream/giant toilet dream. When i woke up, i was in my bed, not wearing anything, and my underwear and clothes were laying right beside the toilet... Strangest thing that has ever happened to me, i NEVER sleep walk.
