Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer New Member - Need Help Activating....

I know this is a frequent topic, and I have been following other threads on the same and similar topics, but here goes.... I am relatively new to PR and I feel that it has "clicked" well with me and finish each PR session with the feeling that it has worked well and I have absorbed the material... But when I try to activate, I don't get very much. Granted, I have only tried this a couple times, but the activation isn't "clicking" for me. I PRed the dictionary several times and couldn't provide any definitions for any of the non-standard vocab words that my wife picked out randomly. I PRed the Natural Brilliance book and couldn't answer ANY of the questions in the manual.. Can anyone offer any help????

PS... I actually did have some very powerful dream activations when I tried, so I am convinced that the material is there - it just needs help coming out.

What level of detail you want?
Big picture?
Textbook reading (nerd)?

Activation, follow the steps.
Postview first, get your list of trigger words, make some ?s. Ask yourself some questions which will lead you in the right direction. Ask Ask Ask, then answer with the text. Once you feel good w/ S+D... purpose fulfilled? If not, then Rapid read to your heart's desire.

Give it another shot and set the timer. Ask yourself if the author were sitting in front of you to talk about what is in his/her book what would you want to know from them. Then let yourself be guided to finding that information. Use the index and table of content (it's not cheating that's what they are there for). Build your knowledge about the book question after question. When the time is up stop.

Take a break and then decide if you want to know more. If you do do another activation pass. If not then you're done.
