P.S. Never underestimate your intelligence, just exercise it. For instance, the other day I got a combination lock keychain for free. I struck a desire to know how it worked, and how to design one, etc. I worked through the problem using visualization and a logical approach, bearing in mind mechanical principles. I eventually struck upon what seemed to be a complete conception, as intuited by my Pure Concept sense. I used some tools to carefully open it and I confirmed my conception. With no prior experience with lock design, and using only inferences from outward function and mechanical-thinking I correctly deduced all the principles and methods which go into a locking-mechanism- pins, wheels, clutches, tension mechanisms etc. Most people wouldn't spend time on something like that, but I believe that it was a valuable exercise which refined my cognitive ability. Always try to grow.
