Work the system in the order it is given. You get there by trying it and seeing what happens when I do this and then try doing what Paul has explained to the best of your understanding.
Notice the experience and check the results.
As Paul says, there are no mistakes there are only learning experiences. The fastest way to get there is to make a start. Take it in chunks, step by step.
