When I super read, I scan the page from the centre part. Even I try hard to expand my gaze, I can see the words in centre part, where my eyes focus, clearly. For the peripheral part of the sentence, I have a blur image only. However, important words may not be in the centre part of the page. How can I know where I have to dip if I can't see all the words?

Follow your instincts. When you're superreading, you're going over things you've already PhotoRead.

But the point is, I can't see many words. So it doesn't have even sth to attract my attention except the words in the centre part of the page.

Also, when I read some technical book, like Einstein Factor by Wenger, I have to read every words of the procedures of image streaming and other techniques. I can't simply read 1-2 sentences and 1-2 pages in total for the book.

Did I do something wrong?

Are you using the tangerine technique when you superread and dip if not remember to use it, it helps expand the peripheral vision.

Altenately you could try skittering or rhythmetic perusal. They are alternate activation techniques explained in the book. In particular refer to pages 64 and 65.

Relax - when you do a self check notice what is working and build on that. Some books take a bit more skittering than superreading. Like is says on page 65 experiment and find your own pattern. They can vary with the different writing styles and books.

You can help it. You do see everything in your field of view, which is about 160 degrees (left to right). You can't change your physiology... well not too easily. However, you field of awareness is flexible. Your field of awareness of the about of you visual field of vision that you are conscious of. Your field of awareness is always changing depending on the your activity and situation.

Now when you read traditionally you've learned to narrow your field of awareness to single words or a few words. Some reading problems come from focusing to subword. Natually quick readers have a wider field of awareness. Some programs to increase reading speed work on increasing the field of awareness.

You can change you field of awareness by consciously making the decision to widen your field of awareness. The PR course gives good techniques for doing this. You can do it right now. Stop thinking about these words only. See the edges of the window you have open on the screen. See the edges of the monitor. See beyond the monitor. Don't redirect your gaze. Read this thread and just be aware that you eyes are providing all sorts of other information that you conscious mind normally ignores, while you are at the monitor.

You can practice this anywhere. However, it can be a little unsettling to do when driving, so I and recommending you NOT do it while driven (liability should be taken care of). Do it the next time you go for a walk.

With a little practice you can do it anytime and to whatever fraction of your field of view. So seeing and being aware of both pages while PR will become comfortable. Seeing all the words on a line is hard to avoid, but becoming aware of them will become easier.

Relax you don't have to see them in total clarity for your mind to recognize them. As for picking up clues where to dip, you brain can recognize the patterns on the page and direct you attention. Trust in the amazing power of your mind and don't limit yourself.
