Does anyone think that a beginner photoreader could try to photoread a bunch of books on a subject , sort of like direct learning, but without ever before doing activation?
Also, if I was to have a class on one subject and, before I get too advanced in it, I photoread a large # of books on the same subject, when the class has me read a similar book would I get more out of it because I already have prior subconscious knowledge of the ideas?

Activation is the way you develop the mind body link. The trust that we are processing the information from the books we are photoreading.

You could PhotoRead and have them activate during class. Depending on your natural intuition it would be hard to guess what your results will be. Without activation experience it would be like walking into a skating contest without ever having worn skates before. Who know you could be a natural? The ones activating books on a regular basis have developed the body mind connection to trust the information that comes from the inner mind.

As is often stated on the forum. First learn the whole system as given, then experiment. Once your mind habitually knows the responses you expect as a result of photoreading then you will find that can experiment with the system with a lot more confidence.

Alex is right.

Another thing I've learned in doing PR is that the system is so subtle that your conscious mind has no way of proving to itself that the system is really working. For that reason it's better to be thorough in learning the whole system first and then once you have conscious competence to proceed to modify the PR system to your own tastes.
