hey thanks for informing me some more. so basically activation is a fancy word for a fast process of regular reading (dipping and rapid reading) in order to gain a slight comprehension. for me it seems that the only way to understand what i am trying to read is but actually reading with the rapidread and skittering methods, however i only pick up bits of information. How long should the activation process be, by this i mean how long should i rapid read,dip, and skitter. as a skeptical beginner it seems it would be more efficient to just read a book quickly from start to finish. i am trying to develop my skill as a PRer but i think it will take some time but i think it is worth the effort. When i try to photoread i am still conscious, how am i supposed to have an other than conscious mind even when i turn pages and i am aware of what is going on, it seems there is a contradiction between not being conscious and aware at the same time. thanks for your help
