I recently found some info that is pretty interesting. I thought that crazy Eddie Strachar was ripping LSC off, but I found this and don't know what to think.

If anyone has tons of money to buy this course, or a crafty way of obtaining it, please let me know what the results are. This program is supposed to be better than PR and pioneered first. It also has other things to do that deal with subconscious programming, and I think the course has you do a lot of practice for it to become a habit.

Maybe the forces of light and dark aren't so clear...

Search the forum... much has been said about subliminal dynamics.

In summary it lacks activation.

The method for the PhotoReading step has been in use, as far as recorded use, for centuries. It's nothing new, and you'll find there is a big difference between the PhotoReading Whole Mind System, when compared to Subliminal Dynamics.

The way I see it I've been photoreading since the day I was born. This programme teaches me how to harness it.I've never thought of it as teaching me something totally new, just teaching me how to use what I've got.
We take in so much unconscious information during the day, why do you think advertisers squeeze for space at the side of football pitches and to get their items on films. It's not because they think we'll look at it directly and think "oh, that looks good, I'm going to go out right now and buy it."No, they do it to make sure it hits our unconscious minds and then when we have to make a decision about buying a certain item, our brains search for ideas which then find a certain brand.Think about it, if I said to you name a maker of CD players I bet I could guess what you were thinking in five guesses.Even though there's many makers, only a few would likely be both in our unconscious minds due to global advertising.
Like I say I never thought Paul Scheele gave me the power to photoread, his programme just let's me harness my unconscious mind to the benefit of myself and not CD makers.

Take every negative thing that Subliminal Dynamics says about PhotoReading and apply it to Subliminal Dynamics. I listened to about five minutes or less of one of their tapes, just to figure out what the hell they were talking about (since they really don't explain in their advertising the way PhotoReading does).

The real difference is in the theoretical groundwork. Subliminal "Mental Photography" is based on the idea of the subconscious part of the mind reading as if it was hearing a subliminal tape read to it. PhotoReading starts from the framework of the preconscious part of the mind doing the looking. The preconcious part of the mind is what sees everything your eye takes in and then gives the conscious mind a picture of what to look at. Most of what is outside of your fovial vision is handled entirely preconsciously. If you don't need to be aware of something in your visual feild, then you won't notice it even if you see it.

There is a fascinating phenominon that points towards the reality of this modle and the possibility that one can PhotoRead. It's called "Blindsight" and occures when there is damage in the optical lobe in the brain. It results in a blind spot, but the spot has nothing to do with the eye itself. Also, because of the way the brain is wired, information still passes from the eye into the brain. The fascinating thing is that, with training, one can "guess" what is in the blind spot with nearly 100% accuracy, even though one cannot consciously see anything at all. The book, "The Emperor's New Mind" by Sir Roger Penrose touches on this, although the book is more about AI then about strange brain abnormalities.

As to the relationship between the two methods, indeed Paul Scheele did attend a workshop, and was initially impressed. However, due to problems with the paradigm and thus problems with performing efficient and stress-free activation, Paul Scheele went to the much older sources of both methods to develop a new framework. PhotoReading is not a copy of Subliminal Dynamics, but rather something that evolved out of the same source materials.

To use a zoological metaphor for this evolution, Subliminal Dynamics is Pan troglodytes while PhotoReading is Homo sapiens. Related, but not even the same genus of reading technologies.

I have the Subliminal Dynamics Course, so far I've only listened to the first tape, not because I gave up on it, but because I realized the timing for doing that sort of thing was far from right. However, on first impressions, I have to say the guy who does the talking really could benefit from 'mentally photographing' a book on presentation skills, or at least work on his voice. You don't exactly feel urged to keep on listening, to put it that way.

When I do find the time for it, though, I'll definitely work with the course, in addition to the Photo Reading book that I own. Don't know yet, but if another special for the Photo Reading Course comes along, then I'll might just get that as well. I'm sure the Subliminal Dynamics thing still has something to offer, but I'm much more impressed with what's happening on this web-site than on subdyn.com. I don't think they even have a disussion forum. That doesn't help very much.

I think the Subliminal Dynamics course also covers other stuff, not just reading. It's a broader thing, as far as I understand. I'll give my thoughts on it for anyone interested when I've gone through it, but that'll be some weeks still, I'm afraid. Or months. The Boundless Renewal course will be the next tape course I'll work with, and I've got VERY, VERY good reasons for that!

From what I have seen so far, the SubDyn program focuses more on the Mental Photography part through practice. It says to use a dictionary once a day and a book 30 times a day, each book having three passes, making it 10 books. This builds a "rapport" with the sub-conscious mind, making new neural pathways connection the various layers. This is said to take 6 weeks for it do become its strongest.

This sounds good, and the photoreading course for some reason doesn't focus on this part as much, but maybe you don't need to. But I have also heard people mention it is a good strategy to PR 10 books in a certain amount of time, I think a week or day or somewhere in between.
I don't know what kind of activation the program has, little is mentioned outside of the tapes so I don't know what their couse entails. I have seen, though, that it also has some weird crap about changing reality in our minds or something. Like our subconscious can control the unverse... But it also has some other thing that might be good, like the "Distraction Index", created by Albert Eistein that can help you remain focused on a task solely.

Overall, it just sounds like a Photo-Speed-Reading course where it only has one main step that is practiced continuously.

PhotoRead 3 to 10 books a day for a month and see what happens. Activate 1 book per week.

Excellent for making the skill a habit.

how many books should a beginning photoreader read daily?? I have been going to various bookstores and selecting a few books that interest me and trying to photoread them. I also want to know which book you experienced PRers have read and what books you started out with??? I am starting to have fun with this methods of obtaining information. thanks for your help.
