Hi everyone-
I am going to practice PR (I'm still a newb, I just took a seminar back in November and I haven't practiced as much as I should..I know, shame on me!) to help me with studying the large amount of material I have to cover for my TX cosmetology licensing test. There's a written and a practical portion; I am focusing on the written portion as the one PR would help most with.
I have a large book with 26 chapters covering a broad range of topics from hair color chemistry to the study of the skin. I also have a stack of the tests from school that cover each of these chapters.
Since I know there are many veterans in here that are far more skilled than I at getting to the "meat" of the process, I thought I'd ask for your help.
As far as stating a purpose:
-My ultimate application of the material is to be able to correctly answer at the minimum 76% of the questions on the test so I will pass.
-The material is VERY important to me; I cannot get my license to be a hair stylist if I do not pass.
I'm having a little more trouble with the specific wants/needs. It's so much material and so detailed that I am not sure how to approach it.
Thank you so much for your time...I am studying all week...my test is on Friday Aug 1st. I'm going to go ahead and begin working on the PR, but any suggestions as to how to improve the effectiveness would be sooo very much appreciated.
